The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies is located in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. SIIT programs are integrated to combine traditional learning andhands-on training with a First Nations perspective.
March 15, 2014- Jerry Laliberte, an instructor with the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies Process Operations and Technicians program, was presented with three copies of the technical manual, “Practical Management for Plant Turnarounds”, by Mr. John McLay, P. Eng, R.E.T. PE (First) on behalf of JMC Consulting Ltd.
John McLay does both STO/TAR training and consulting in the region. He will be teaching the internationally acclaimed MasterClass: Shutdowns and Turnarounds in Drayton Valley, Alberta on March 25, 26, and 27th, 2014.
Mr. McLay was also given an opportunity have a tour of the campus boiler room, facilitated by Fran Rogers, another instructor with the program, where he was given a chance to talk to many students currently enrolled at SIIT.
